one lie leads to another

This quote is telling us that  if we choose to say one lie you will end up saying another one just to back the first one up. so its never good to tell any lies at all because it will just put you in a worse position then where you were for saying the second lie to back up the first one you said.Your parents most likely wont be proud of the lie you have said, much less on the second one. It doesn't matter how big or small the lie was because eventually you will continue telling lies and that will lead to a bigger lie over time.
