I WON'T CHEAT

"I WON'T CHEAT" Dale Murphy

Image result for dale murphyI think what Dale Murphy was saying about cheating and that it is not worth it was right because at the end cheaters never win and that is something that I will always live up to. I will live up to it because I am a CTR student 24/7. I personally hate it when someone is cheating or exploiting something because it makes it almost impossible to win in that p  particular activity. For example I was playing Fortnite the other day and someone was using the double pump which is exploiting the game because it leaves the other player at a disadvantage but thank God I killed him, I know he was mad because even with that overpowered double pump tactic i still killed him but he did have me at like 20 HP which is not good.

CHARACTERS MATTERS MOST

"CHARACTERS MATTER MOST". - Ale Murphy

Image result for dale murphyThis quote is saying that you should care more about your character, Either if you CTR or if you CTW. It depends on you to choose how your character is going to be. Don’t let others decide on how your character is going to be. I suggest CTR because you will succeed in life. If you CTW you will face consequences in life.

A Right Heart

"Great beauty, great strength, and great riches are really and truly of great use; a right heart exceeds all" - Benjamin Franklin

This quote is trying to tell us that if you have all the qualities above and are truly being used than you can exceed everything and anything. I'm don't really agree with this because it all depends on how much you practice and how hard you practice something. If i was to practice 6 hours everyday and someone else only practices the same particular sport for only 3 hours than im already 3 hours ahead of him everyday he practices and I would be more likely to win because hard work pays off. If I had the same ambition and practiced more than he did then i will most likely beat him because I would be doing more than he is. Well that's my reflection on this quote.

WHAT WE DO TODAY

"It may make a difference to all eternity weather  we do right or wrong today" -James Freeman Clarke

Your today is what makes tomorrow if you do right things you will have a good day. If you do bad things then it changes up your whole days. For example, if you see a man dropped an $100 bill and you still could catch up your decision there will make the future. If you choose to give the man the money he had dropped then you are awesome and you will have a great day. And if you choose to keep the money you are doing something bad. And then karma will go after you and you will receive the consequences for the action you took. Or if someone is telling you to do drugs with them and they say that they resolve your problems what do you do. You should contemplate because you already know what to do. If you say yes then karma will get you and you will be bargaining. If you say no then you will be happy that you made that choice because you won't be the one who did the drugs.

IN ACTING WELL
"Act well your part; there all honor lies." -ALEXANDER POPE.

Valentines Day

Valentine's Day is named after Saint, valentine's a Catholic priest who lived in Rome in the 3rd Century. There are many stories about St Valentine and over time these stories grew into the legend we know today. At the time of Valentine's life, many Romans were converting to Christianity, but the Emperor Claudius II was a pagan and created strict laws about what Christians were allowed to do. Claudius believed that Roman soldiers should be completely devoted to Rome and therefore passed a law preventing them from marrying. St Valentine began to marry these soldiers in secret Christian ceremonies and this was the beginning of his reputation for believing in the importance of love. Eventually Valentine was found out and jailed for his crimes against Claudius. While imprisoned, Valentine cared for his fellow prisoners and also his jailor's blind daughter. Legend has it that Valentine cured the girl's blindness and that his final act before being executed was to write her a love message signed ‘from your Valentine'. Valentine was executed on 14 February in the year 270. It wasn't until more than 200 years later that 14 February was proclaimed St Valentine's Day. By this time Rome had become Christian and the Catholic Church was determined to stamp out any remaining paganism. A pagan fertility ritual was held in February each year and the Pope abolished this festival and proclaimed 14 February Saint Valentine's Day, thus establishing this feast day on the Catholic Calendar of Saints. The poet Chaucer in the Middle Ages was the first to link St Valentine with romantic love. This was the beginning of the tradition of courtly love, a ritual of expressing love and admiration, usually in secret. This custom spread throughout Europe and stories grew about a High Court of Love where female judges would rule on issues related to love on 14 February each year. Historians believe that these meetings were in fact gatherings where people read love poetry and played games of flirtation.

GEORGE WASHINGTON

The people you hang out with the most can lift you up as much as they can bring you to destruction. They are crucial to your mental health, your physical and emotional health, your spiritual health, and your personal success. They can either inspire you or drain you. For this reason, pick your friends wisely. Here are three compelling reasons to hang out with the right company of friends. Stress is a part of our daily lives. We start to experience it even as infants. How effectively we can manage stress in our lives, though, depends on the type of people we surround ourselves with. If we always hang out with people who themselves do not know how to deal with stress properly, we will end up having to deal with more stress. On the other hand, the right kind of people can be a huge stress relief. They are fun to be with, are optimistic, and always exude a confident and an encouraging vibe. They are not insusceptible to stress themselves, but because of their positive attitude, they have an amazing way of slashing stress and using their energy to find ways to improve their lives rather than use it to worry.Every person needs a support system that consists of either colleagues, friends, relatives, or direct family members. It is crucial to have a support system that consists of the right people. They can offer you either emotional, moral, spiritual, or even financial support. They will be the one who will back you up in difficult times. They will be the one to show you love when you need love. Most importantly, they will be the one to offer you counsel when you are going through a difficult challenge in your life.

Victor Hugo

"Right is right only when entire." -Victor Hugo

Doing what is right in difficult situations in the workplace is a huge challenge. In his book, God at Work, Ken Costa writes, ‘There are right and wrong choices … all the invented terms such as “inappropriate” and “counterproductive” are efforts to avoid the simple ethical fact that there is a right and wrong course of action.’
When facing a difficult pastoral situation those of us in the leadership of the church need to remind ourselves that the first question we have to ask is, ‘What is the right thing to do?’ And only then move to the second question, ‘What is the most pastoral way to do it. Of course, none of us get it right all the time. We all make mistakes.
As Ken Costa writes, ‘We only grow in wisdom if we learn from our mistakes. Siegmund Warburg [Ken’s first boss] said on this subject: “Some name it disappointment and become poorer, others name it experience and become richer.”
